In the Snow
Remember that time I created a personal blog as a supplement to my main blog and then removed it? Turns out, I much prefer simplicity. I already have 2 Instagram accounts and that's enough juggling for me!
I figure, why not combine my personal & professional work posts together? It's easier and it all kind of complements each other anyway!
Speaking of, I've been thinking about starting a personal photo project lately and I finally got around to it! I had a few key guidelines I wanted to follow:
- it had to be easy, yet challenging
- it had to allow for consistency
- it had to be personal enough without being contrived
What do I mean by easy, yet challenging? Well, I'd like to work on my personal photo project on a weekly basis, so it couldn't be too time-consuming. It had to be easy enough that I could use my subject on a regular basis, yet challenging enough that it doesn't become boring. I also wanted to create a project that was meaningful to me so ideas would come naturally.
Enter Chester! He's the perfect subject as he's basically my shadow and because he is so stinking adorable, I would love to share his quirks and cuteness with you!
Today was the first snow day in a very long time so we spent the afternoon playing in our backyard. We definitely don't do it enough since we usually go to the dog park, but I wanted to change things up a bit. So glad we did!
