Wedding photography isn't glamorous - in fact, it's downright hard. I have to make sure photos are kept safe, memory cards on my body at all times, and I can't ever. EVER. miss a shot. I carry nearly 15 pounds of camera gear on me for almost 10 hours straight and can't ever forget to pack backup gear in case one fails.
But do you know what makes all this worth it? The raw emotions I get to witness. The dad crying as he gives away his little girl and that first second a man and a woman become husband and wife. These moments can't be faked and they certainly can't afford to go wasted without proper photos to help you re-live them. I'm in this to tell stories. Love stories that live on through photographs.
